About Us
HG Technology was founded on deep technical expertise and long-standing commercial experience. Collectively, our two founding partners have been developing and supporting business systems for more than 75 years, with a grounding in coding and software architecture that predates many of today’s platforms.
That depth matters. It means we understand not only how Microsoft technologies work, but how businesses operate under pressure – where inefficiencies emerge, where systems drift out of alignment and where integration becomes critical.
While our early work focused on property, today we support clients across finance, aggregates and other operationally complex sectors. The common thread is not industry but the need for reliable systems and structured data that support decision-making across core functions, from financial control and operational oversight to procurement, compliance and performance reporting.
Our partners are supported by a close-knit team of developers and consultants with complementary strengths, combining architectural thinking, practical delivery and sector understanding. That blend of experience allows us to look at a system both technically and commercially and to design solutions that stand up to real-world use.
We are deliberately independent in our thinking. Our role is not to sell software, but to recommend and implement the right approach. Often that means strengthening and integrating existing Microsoft tools rather than building costly bespoke applications.
We prioritise longevity, maintainability and commercial sense over unnecessary complexity. We see AI not as a bolt-on feature, but as something that depends on structured data, clean integration and sound architecture. It’s an approach that has shaped our growth over more than 15 years – and one we continue to refine as technology evolves.
