Not in a cybercrime way! We’re talking snackable, bite-sized hacks that make life easier and help us work smarter.
Here are some of our favourites.
𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 & 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• 𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹 + 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 → delete an entire word at once (faster than hitting Backspace 10 times).
• 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 + 𝗙𝟱 → jump back to the last place you edited in the document (saves scrolling).
𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰
• 𝗖𝘁𝗿𝗹 + 𝗤 → clears paragraph formatting (indents, spacing).
• 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (paintbrush icon) → copy and paste formatting, not just text.
𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀
• 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 (Insert → Quick Parts) → save snippets of text you type often (like a mini personal template bank).
• =𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱(𝟯,𝟰) → generates 3 paragraphs of 4 sentences of random text (great for testing layouts).
• 𝗔𝗹𝘁 + 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 → selects text in a block/column (perfect for tables or cutting out vertical lists). You’ll need to press Ctrl + C (to copy) and move to where you want it, then press Ctrl + V (to paste).
If you want to 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, use:
• Select the text → go to 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 > 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 > 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.
• Or use the shortcut: type text separated by 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝘀 → 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 → 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 → 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁.
